this piece seeks to question the limits of a particular moment of national imagination, and, in turn, the impact these limits have on individual lives. flashes of kodachrome colors and light morph through themes of nature, power, gender and race––in looking again, a granddaughter aims to reveal the duplicitous nature of her familial myths and their vast contradictions.
